Skateboarding is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

There’s so much I could say about it — and one day I will dive deeper — but for now, I wanted to share what inspired me to create Waffle Squad Skateboards:
Community.

No matter your background, when you run into skaters at a park in a nearby town or a completely new city, you’re instantly part of something. Strangers cheer you on when you're trying to land a trick, and you return the favor. That feeling of finally sticking something and hearing everyone tap their boards in respect — it's unmatched. In that moment, you're connected with people from all walks of life.

The name Waffle Squad is built around that sense of belonging. It features playful, illustrated waffle characters that reflect the diversity of skate crews and the skateboarding community at large. The designs are inspired by childhood cartoons, aiming to evoke a sense of nostalgia — and the variety of characters invites people to discover and collect them all.
